Many may not know this but actually, many families forget about one thing when it comes to working on the budget of baby and children’s expenses — buying of diapers.
When asked, many parents often replied, “I never thought of that. I never really think about diapers.” When the time comes, they realize that their seemingly minor overlook could turn into something known as the “diaper crisis”.

The lack of diapers actually poses lower-income families another obstacle from getting out of the poverty chain. Not only that, the lack of diapers actually poses more severe problems such as:
- Impacting the welfare of children and families on physical, mental and social levels.
- With childcare centers having a prerequisite of parents to provide at least 4-6 diapers a day, many parents are not able to leave their children at such centers, resulting in them not being able to go to work.
- Government coupons and measures do not acknowledge that diapers are a necessity, and have categorized them as disallowed purchases, resulting in parents are being unable to get discounted or free diapers.
